Finding the motivation to get active and stay active is challenging for anyone when there’s unlimited access to video games and television. Often, it’s particularly difficult for a child that’s overweight to become physically active for fear of teasing and feelings of inadequacy. This video will give examples of activities that are fun, such as swimming, dancing, and team sports. We will also illustrate how calories are burned during exercise. Any kid who sees this video will get pumped up and ready to put more activity and groove into their daily routine.
